Cutting Time On Composting With Green Cycler

I received the Green Cycler in exchange for an honest review. All views and opinions are my own. See Disclosure.
Having beautiful flowers and picking luscious veggies from your own garden can bring such joy. I'll have to admit last year I really let my flower beds go down hill and our curb appeal was..not so appealing. When I would pull into our drive way and see my pathetic flower beds I would feel sad and guilty. This year I made a vow to myself that not only was our flower bed going to have more than weeds, but I would plant a garden for our family to enjoy some home grown produce. While we have amazing soil around our home I want to keep it that way by learning to compost. Since composting starts inside your home with food scraps let me introduce a useful kitchen composting tool the Green Cycler.
In the process of using fruits and veggies for your meals there can be a lot of food waste. From potato peelings to strawberry stems we have lots of great composting material coming from our family's kitchen. Before I started composting all those scraps were just tossed in with our trash and sent to a land fill. What a waste! The Green Cycler is a simple kitchen tool that chops your food scraps into smaller bits so they will compost faster. Brilliantly designed for busy families the machine is easy to use right out of the box.
I used the quick start instructions and within just a few minutes my new Green Cycler was in action chopping the beginning of our compost pile. Out of the box I simply attached the green handle to the crank arm, then I set the ZeoPack odor and moisture filter into place. That was it! I placed the Green Cycler on my counter to be sure the foot suction cups were secured and it was ready to go. We've yet to empty the bin outside into our started composting pile, and there hasn't been any odor coming from the machine so the filter works well. Once we've used the machine I pull the handle to release the cutting cartridge and I can wash it by hand or in the dishwasher.

How exciting! Now our food waste isn't being wasted. We're turning those kitchen scraps into rich and fertile soil with our Green Cycler! Composting does take time to see the results of your efforts but speeding up the process with our new composting tool is motivating. The Booper loves to bring his banana peels and have me use the Green Cycler so he can watch through the viewing window. It's an awesome thing that by starting our composting now I'm teaching him that composting is fun.

I love that after several uses and washes the blades are still chopping the scraps with ease and the arm motion functions just like it did out of the box. I've been happily sharing how much we love this simple machine with our friends and family.

The Green Cycler features:
  • Super-robust crank arm provides hand-operated, dual-direction grinding for tough to chop scraps
  • Optimized shredding action is safer and more effective than other methods
  • Self-contained, stainless-steel blade cartridge system snaps in and out for quick clean-up

  1. I want one of these soooooo bad! I compost outside in a pallet bin and this would be awesome so I dont have to tote out a stinky mess and pitchfork it!
